The Chairman of BALO Mr Bülent KOSMAZ and Deputy General Manager Huseyin ISTEERMIS signed an information structuring contract with SOFT Data Processing Consultancy and Trade Inc. , which is an important investment for managing  business processes of BALO as a whole and providing quality service with a flexible, fast, and high efficient organization.
BALO has shown its vision to lead the sector again by signing this software contract with SOFT on 2 August 2012 in Izmir. That is to say, because the freight shipment by railway has not developed in our country there is no software programme in informatics sector related to this area.  BALO breaks a new ground that it aims to bring railway transportation as the dynamo of Turkish exportation and in the same manner, BALO aims to contribute to Turkish Informatics Sector by deciding to purchase the software programme from Turkish companies instead of buying it from abroad.
As a result of the interviews and assessments with logistics software companies operating in our country that lasted 7 months, SOFT Data Processing Consultancy and Trade Inc. , which serves successfully to meet the needs of  logistics sector for many years, was approved. Thus, BALO’ s management and stuff will contribute to create railway operations software in association with SOFT by evaluating their experiences related to railway transportation.
Together with the web integrated railway operations developed specially for BALO, software licence of 34 modules consisting SOFTTRANS, SOFTFINANCE, SOFTINTERFACE were purchased and the installation process has started.
SOFT Logistics and Transportation Management Application (SOFTTRANS), SOFT Financial Management Application (SOFT FINANCE), and SOFT Interface Applications (SOFTINTERFACE) integrated systems developed by SOFT will be used to form BALO Enterprise Resource Planning – ERP.
By means of SOFT Logistics and Transportation Management Application (SOFTTRANS), all process of logistics and transport operations (inquiries, reservations, orders, instructions, documents, financial information, invoices and reports- all business process)is conducted in an integrated manner.
With SOFT Financial Management Application (SOFT FINANCE), conducting the commercial and financial transactions of organizations and providing information, that will help managers for decision making process in a correct and fast way are, occurred integratedly with transport operations.
SOFT Interface Applications (SOFTINTERFACE) is consisted of customs, banks, customers, suppliers, service providers related to logistics, transportation and financial transaction process and various hardware and software programmes and other softwares providing electronic data exchange and integration with SOFT Applications.
