BALO has Preferred UNIT45 for the containers

As a result of meetings with several suppliers, BALO has decided to work with UNIT45 which is the leading container supplier for the containers which will be used in the intermodal operations which will start on 8th of September.

As using these 45’ HC PW containers that have more palette capacity rather than standard 40’ containers and equal volume of standard trailer, BALO will give more loading possibility to Turkish Exporters, besides submitting freight advantages.

The instruction has given for positioning the first 350 containers which will be picked up from Rotterdam to transport to terminals in Cologne and Munich in Europe and to operation centers in İzmir, Manisa, Ankara, Konya, Eskişehir and Bandirma in Turkey by Huseyin Isteermis, General Manager of BALO.

These 45’ HC PW containers which will be supplied from UNIT45, will be in place with BALO logos in the wagons of the first BALO train which will depart from Manisa in 8th of September.
