On January 5, 2013 Mr Suleyman Yolcu as Vice Chairman, Mr Huseyin Isteermis as General Manager, Mr Bugrahan Hanagasioglu as Consultant, and Mr Erkan Aksoy as Transport Manager of BALO held a meeting at Celebi Bandirma Port with the port authorities. (05.01.2013)
The works at Bandirma Port as one of the main important operation areas for BALO were evaluated and they collected the data about the pre-planning studies for the operations that BALO will start in the first quarter of 2013. In addition, they have had observations on train ferry ramp belonging to Turkish State Railways (TCDD).
After the examinations at Celebi Port, BALO Mission have been to Okcugol and Mustafakemalpasa stations belonging again TCDD. Lastly they have been to Gokkoy Logistics Hub and got information from the authorities.
Express-Interfarcht, subsidiary of Rail Cargo Austria Group belonging to Austrian State Railway (ÖBB Holding AG), will provide scheduled block train services from Kapikule.
