On behalf of BALO, Mr İsteermis as General Manager of BALO participated at Coordination Meeting issued by TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) on 27 December 2012. The Board Member of BALO and the Chairman of UTIKAD, Mr Turgut Keskin and General Manager of TOBB UND, Mr Selcuk Yilmaz were at meeting, too.
At meeting which was held under chairmanship Mr Talat Aydin as Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, the development of transport and logistics sector in the year 2012 were discussed. Also, the expectations of the sector from the new year and the projects related to this sector were evaluated. The meeting was completed successfully and officially.

BALO has decided to supply the containers from the Dutch Company, UNIT45, in order to use for the intermodal operations which will start on 8th of September.
The Managers of BALO has participated in the training which is organized in Istanbul, on 7th-8th of September in order to describe the “Draft Law on the Liberalisation of rail transport in Turkey”.
