In order to introduce our company, an introductory meeting to the active export companies and forwarding agents from Konya was held on November 20, 2012. As General Manager Mr Huseyin Isteermis has made a presentation interactively at meeting in which board members of BALO as Mr Mevlut Eberdes, Mr Ismail Haydaroglu, and Mr Vahit Turkyilmaz as General Manager of Konya Organized Industrial Zone and approximately 60 export companies have participated. The presentation took attention of the participants and Mr Isteermis answered their questions carefully.
Before the meeting TCDD Horozlu Han Station was visited with Mr Haydaroglu and they had technical analysis there.
In addition, they visited Mr Tahir Buyukhelvacigil as board member of BALO and the chairman of Konya Organized Industrial Zone and Mr Selcuk Ozturk as the chairman of Konya Chamber of Commerce at their offices.
Mr Isteermis determined that the Konya visit was a good motivation for him.

BALO has decided to supply the containers from the Dutch Company, UNIT45, in order to use for the intermodal operations which will start on 8th of September.
The Managers of BALO has participated in the training which is organized in Istanbul, on 7th-8th of September in order to describe the “Draft Law on the Liberalisation of rail transport in Turkey”.
