Within the context of Supply Chain Congress in Izmir organized by Izmir University of Economics the Dutch logistics experts have visited BALO.
Miss Liesbeth Staps as International Liason Officer of Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics (DINALOG), Mr Erwin van Donk as Chief Representative of Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO),and Mrs Esin Gönenç Mumcu as Chief Representative of NBSO have participated at meeting.
The authorities indicated that they desired this meeting in order to get detailed information about BALO and discuss the potential cooperation between Netherlands and BALO. They also pointed that since Turkey is a major transportation corridor connecting Europe and Asia, they can support BALO in line with their developed infrastructure and experience in logistics sector.
The Responsible of Market Research and Development of BALO, Miss Selda Yilmazoglu, made a detailed presentation interactively and explained the current studies of BALO. The presentation took attention of the participants and their questions related to BALO system were answered.
DINALOG and BALO decided to continue bilateral negotiations for developing cooperation among them. DINALOG representative determined the next meeting for potential cooperation can be done ta their head office in Netherlands and also stated they would be glad to welcome BALO.
